Happy Holidays!

Christmas holidays are finally upon us 🙂 I am delighted to be getting the time off to spend it with my family and amazing friends. It is going to be a jammed packed exciting few weeks and i am really looking forward to so many celebrations.

This weekend theUPSIDE has been getting to see the Panto, Cinderella at the Everyman, with my Mam. We haven’t gone in about two years as I have always worked in retail and actually never had the chance as I would be so busy. This year I made it my business to organise a day for it and I am so glad I did. We sang our hearts out to all the songs and had a little dance in the middle of it aswell. It was great to just be able to relax and not have to rush anywhere. I think this is definitely something I am looking forward to this holiday season just being able to relax and not have to check the time to rush off somewhere. So make sure you do this also and make some time to relax 😉

Also this weekend, theUPSIDE was having our ladies night out (one of many) on Saturday night. I have the most amazing friends ever and when we all get together we have so much fun. I think it is so important to have a strong group of friends that you can turn to at any time and these girls are definitely that for me. We have all been through our fair share of up’s and down’s and can honestly say I don’t know where I would be without these amazing women in my life. I look forward to spending so much time with them over Christmas and it is also one of these amazing women’s birthday, Amanda Noonan, on Christmas Day, This gives us more of an excuse to celebrate especially this year as she is turning the big 25.  So Saturday night kicked off the festive season for us and we headed out with our Christmas jumpers and lights on and had an amazing night.

I know for many the holiday season can be a hard time with loved ones far away or mourning loved ones who you may have lost throughout the year but I would hope you can find theUPSIDE to this Christmas time and then take on 2015 with a heart and a half. Spend this time of year with the ones who mean the most to you and i hope you have so much fun doing this. Help out those who you know are going through a hard time and listen to them. Even if you are having the best Christmas there surely is someone out there that you know could use a shoulder to cry on or just a quick chat. Look after one another and make a pact for yourself for 2015 to be happy and positive whatever that may take!

I just want to take this time again to thank each and every one of you for continuing to support my blog every day and every time I put up a post. I am so excited to share events with you in 2015 and continue to spread some positivity. I would also ask again if some of you would like to guest blog you can write about anything you want once there is some element of theUPSIDE of your life in there. Just send me an email thinktheupside@gmail.com

I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I hope Santa is good to you all 🙂
